JOC was established in the Al-Jazeera region in 2013 and was licensed under the number / 209 / date 2019 issued by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (AANES) in exceptional circumstances, which swept Syria and caused an economic crisis, especially in energy sources. JOC is headquartered in Rmelan.


 

JOC has a group of companies and branches in all regions of north and east Syria.

JOC’s Affiliated Companies:

1- Rmelan Oil Company, headquartered in Rmelan: It leads exploration and production operations in the fields of Qamishlo Province.

2- Al-Gibsah Oil Company: leads exploration and production operations in the fields of Al-Hasakah Province.

3- Deir Ezzor Oil Company: It leads exploration and production operations in the fields of the administrative area of the Deir Ezzor Civil Council.

4- Al-Jazeera Fuel Company, based in the city of Qamishlo: It distributes (diesel - gasoline - kerosene - household gas) to all regions and civil councils of the AANES.

5- Al-Suwaydiyah Gas Plant: It processes natural gas associated with oil and produces domestic gas (LBG), condensates and clean gas to generate electric power.

6- Al-Gibsah Gas Plant: It processes free natural gas and produces domestic gas (LBG), condensates and clean gas for the petrochemical industry and electric power generation.

7- Conoco Gas Plant: It processes associated and free natural gas and produces clean gas to generate electric power.

8- The Ger Zero Collection and Processing Station: It collects oil from all fields in Qamishlo district, processes it and prepares it for refining and exporting.

9- Refineries in both Al-Suwaydiyah and Al-Gibsah: they work to refine crude oil and produce oil derivatives (diesel - gasoline - kerosene).
